4. Approval of Minutes – June 19, 2017
5. Reports/Discussion Agenda:
a. Item Request – Receive a report from staff and a representative of LS3P Architects regarding the feasibility study for the expansion of the Littlejohn Community Center and possible application to the SC Department of Commerce for a Community Development Block Grant to fund a portion of the project – Mr. Andy Blondeau, Assistant City Administrator.
b. Item Request – Receive a report from representatives of CATBus and the Center for Transportation & the Environment (CTE) regarding the request for proposals that were received for the electric bus acquisition to be funded with Low/No and SCDOT grant funding – Mr. Rick Cotton, City Administrator.
c. Receive a draft of proposed amendments to the City’s Rental Housing Ordinance and consider setting the date and time for a work session to review and discuss this issue as a stand-alone meeting agenda item – Mr. Rick Cotton, City Administrator.
d. Staff and Council reports.
6. Policy/Action Agenda:
a. Item Request – Receive a report from Mayor Cook regarding the acquisition of a construction easement for the installation of a traffic signal at Issaqueena Trail/Lancelot Drive. Consider the use of eminent domain authority to obtain a construction easement if required to complete this traffic signal safety project – Mr. Rick Cotton, City Administrator.
b. Consider 2nd Reading of a proposed Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to change 19-405 Table of Standards for Conditional Use and Special Exceptions in Non-residential Districts to reduce the depth of required commercial space on the ground floor of mixed use buildings – Mr. Todd Steadman – Planning & Codes Director.
c. Item Request – Consider 1st Reading of a proposed Amendment to Article VIII, Section 19- 802; Table 19-802, reduction of parking requirement for mixed-use and multi-family projects closed to campus – Mr. Todd Steadman, Planning & Codes Administrator.
d. Item Request – Consider setting date and time for a revocation hearing for the Rental Housing License at 108 Monaco Circle – Mr. Jacob Peabody, Zoning Administrator.
7. Executive Session:
a. Consider appointment to the Accommodation Tax Committee.
b. Consider appointments to the Arts & Culture Commission.
