5. Reports/Discussion Agenda:
a. Receive a report from Shannon Lambert, coordinator for the Spring into Clemson Festival that was held this spring and was the class project for Leadership Clemson Class of 2017 – Mr. Rick Cotton, City Administrator.
b. Review and discuss possible application for PARD Recreation Grant funding to be utilized for the upgrade of Rotary Park – Mr. Jay Bennett, Director of Parks & Recreation.
c. Receive Leased Property Report for FY 16-17 and consider adjusting rental rates – Mr. Andy Blondeau, Assistant City Administrator.
d. Consider the City of Clemson providing multi-year financial sponsorship commitment to the Miss Clemson and Miss Teen Clemson Scholarship Pageants – Mayor J.C. Cook, III.
e. Staff and Council reports.
6. Policy/Action Agenda:
a. Consider text amendments to the Rental Housing Ordinance – Mr. Jacob Peabody, Zoning & Codes Administrator.
b. Consider 1st Reading of an amendment to Chapter 12, Article II of the City Code of Ordinances for Solicitors, Peddlers, & Sidewalk Vending – Ms. Beverly Coleman, City Clerk.
c. Consider formal adoption of the Arts Master Plan – Ms. Lindsey Newton, Staff Liaison-Arts & Cultural Commission.
d. Consider approval of final cost Proposal from Proterra for the battery-electric bus acquisition package that will be funded with Federal Transportation Administration Low/No Grant Award, SCDOT grant award and local financial match from Clemson University and CATbus reserve funds – Mr. Rick Cotton, City Administrator and Mr. Keith Moody, CAT Director.
e. Consider a proposed fee change for the Board of Architectural Review to allow outside architects to review plans – Mr. Todd Steadman, Planning & Codes Director.
7. Executive Session:
a. Discuss a personnel issue – Section 30-4-70 (a) (1)
b. Discuss a contractual issue related to a contract negotiation for property acquisition – Section 30-4-70 (a)(2)
NOTE: Upon returning to open session, Council may take action on matters discussed in Executive Session.
