Road Closures
College Avenue will close at 4:45pm from Keith Street to Highway 93 for pre-parade festivities. When the parade begins at 6pm, the road closure will extend to Edgewood Avenue. Anyone who works in the area and will be leaving around this time is advised to leave by 5:50pm at the latest or you will be stuck until the parade is over.
CATbus Route Changes
The Red to Central bus – Will travel its normal route until the intersection of College Ave. & Hwy 123, @ this point it will deviate onto Hwy 123 (Bypassing Downtown Clemson & Sikes Hall) then continuing onto Clemson University by way of Hwy 76 & Hwy 93. CAT will NOT pick-up @ Bryan Circle (on Cherry Rd.), the route will pick-up in front of the Hendrix Center on McMillan Rd.
The Red to Clemson bus – Will travel its normal route from Central to Clemson University. At this point the bus will deviate…CAT will NOT pick-up @ Bryan Circle (on Cherry Rd.), the route will pick-up in front of the Hendrix Center on McMillan Rd. Then it will depart back out McMillan to Newman & onto Hwy 93 (Bypassing Sikes Hall & Downtown Clemson) to Hwy 76 & onto Hwy 123. The route will resume its normal schedule/route @ the intersection of College Ave. and Hwy 123.
