Sensory Recollections Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibit examines the relationship between memory and object through the sculptural work of Dalia Delanuez, photographic work of Amber Eckersley, and ceramic work of Lacy Miller. Emphasizing the tension between presence and absence as it relates to memories and objects, the exhibit considers ways in which memory is ever fl uid and malleable.

This exhibit showcases a culmination of research in which students go through a series of critiques during their time as a Master of Fine Arts candidate, helping build a body of work of the students’ choosing. The public is invited to join the conversation by attending the artist talks, followed by a reception. All events are free and will be hosted in the Lee Gallery.

evoking surreal conditions. The artists refl ect on these relationships by examining memory, dreams, and cultural tropes that defi ne perceptions of reality.
