1. Call to Order

2. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance – Council Member Cato

3. Public Session Receive public comments that may or may not be on this agenda

4. Approval of Minutes –April 1, 2019 & April 10, 2019

5. Reports/Discussion Agenda:
    a. Staff and Council reports.

6. Policy/Action Agenda:
    a. Consider 1st Reading of 2018-R-18: Proposed Text Amendment (Pre-schools and Student Fellowships) – Zoning & Codes Administrator Jacob Peabody.
    b. Consider a Resolution to declare April 2019 Fair Housing Month in Clemson – Assistant City Administrator Andy Blondeau.
    c. Consider a request from the South Carolina Botanical Gardens for financial assistance for advertising in the USA Today annual travel guide publication from the City’s Accommodation Tax Fund – Council Member Ducworth.
    d. Consider setting a date and time for a Public Hearing for 2019-R-02: Proposed Map Amendment (Rezoning) – Zoning & Codes Administrator Jacob Peabody.
    e. Consider setting a date and time for a Public Hearing for 2019-R-01: Proposed Text Amendment (Bed and Breakfast Inns and Events) – Zoning & Codes Administrator Jacob Peabody.
    f. Consider setting dates for City Council community engagement meetings in May, authorizing Council Member Robert Halfacre to engage a meeting facilitator, and establishing a budget of $3000 for costs associated with the community meetings – City Council.
    g. Consider a request from Family Promise of Pickens County to be included as one of the nonprofit agencies allowed to use the electronic message boards – Assistant City Administrator Andy Blondeau.

7. Executive Session:
    a. Discussion of matters related to the proposed location, expansion, or the provision of services encouraging location or expansion of industries or other businesses in the area served by the public body: SC Code of Laws Section 30-4-70 (a)(5) – City Administrator Rick Cotton.
    Note: Upon returning to open session, Council may take action on matters discussed in Executive Session.
