NOTICE TO BIDDERS
DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE
CITY OF CLEMSON, SC

 

The City of Clemson will receive bids for the demolition and removal of 1 residential structure until 12:00 P.M.  Friday, May 17th at the City of Clemson, 1250 Tiger Boulevard, Suite 1, Clemson, South Carolina, 29631. The City of Clemson is not responsible for delays in the mail.  Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor’s Licensing Law (S.C. Code of Laws as amended in 1976, Chapter 11, Sections 40-11-10 through 40-11-428).

Scope of Work
The scope of work for this project includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary to demolish and remove 1 residential structure located at 115 Fruster Street in Clemson, SC.  Tax map number 4054-13-14-9326.    The house is generally described as a 1000 SF single story wood framed house.      

Site Visit
It is up to the contractor to walk the demolition site. 

Submittals.  
Bids should be sent to Andy Blondeau, Assistant City Administrator at 1250 Tiger Blvd., Suite 1. Clemson, SC 29631 or by email at ablondeau@cityofclemson.org.  Bid must include certificate of liability insurance.  The party selected to do the work will be required to have a current City of Clemson Business License and obtain a City of Clemson Demolition Permit.

The City of Clemson reserves the right to reject any and all offers and portions thereof, to waive minor technicalities and informalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest, subject to the requirements of any applicable laws of procurement.
