6. Reports/Discussion Agenda:
a. Ms. Stephanie Jackson-Amell, P.E., representing SC Department of Transportation to provide a report and update on the Highway 123 safety enhancements and summer paving schedule – City Administrator Rick Cotton.
b. Receive a proposal from the Pavilion Development Company for a public-private partnership opportunity related to the expansion of public parking for Downtown Clemson – City Administrator Rick Cotton.
c. Staff and Council reports.
7. Policy/Action Agenda:
a. Consider 2nd Reading of 2018-R-18: Proposed Text Amendment (Pre-schools and Student Fellowships) – Zoning & Codes Administrator Jacob Peabody.
b. Consider the Bids received for street resurfacing maintenance and award of base bid to Pickens Construction for $408,879 and consider authorizing additional resurfacing work in an amount not to exceed $154,000 (to total the budgeted amount of $563,000 in fiscal year 2018/2019) – Assistant City Engineer Chris Shivar.
8. Executive Session:
a. Discuss the negotiations incident to proposed contractual arrangements and proposed purchase of property (two locations to be discussed) for the City of Clemson: SC Code of Laws, Sec. 30-4-70(a)(2) – Mayor Cook.
Note: Upon returning to open session, Council may take action on matters discussed in Executive Session.
