City News and Events

City of Clemson Road Resurfacing Phase I

City of Clemson Road Resurfacing Phase I

Pickens Construction plans to begin roadway repair and overlay work next week (June 17th - 21st) weather permitting. The contractor will begin work on the following city streets: Riverpoint Drive, Elm Street, Hillcrest Avenue, Foy Creek Drive, Ashley Road, Colleton Court, Summer Walk Lane, Kendra Place, Bayberry Lane, Berkeley Court, Valley View Drive, and Valley View Court. Pickens Construction will be initially working to patch damaged portions of the roadway and then will return to overlay roadways. Work is expected to last throughout the summer. All scheduling will be tentative due to the work being highly weather dependent. Construction schedule updates will be provided via the City's website, E-Mail Blasts, and Facebook as they become available.

Residents are asked to please use extreme caution in areas where work is occurring, follow directions of construction personnel, expect occasional delays, and find alternate routes if at all possible.
