Pickens Construction is continuing to complete repair work on the following streets: Riverpoint Drive, Elm Street and Heather Drive. Shortly after repair work is completed, the contractor will begin road resurfacing of the following city streets: Riverpoint Drive, Elm Street, Hillcrest Avenue, Foy Creek Drive, Ashley Road, Colleton Court, Summer Walk Lane, Kendra Place, Bayberry Lane, Berkeley Court, Valley View Drive, Valley View Court and portions of Heather Drive and Creekside Drive. This work is currently projected to last through early September. All work schedules are highly weather dependent and further updates will be provided as they become available. Residents and motorists are asked to please use extreme caution in areas where work is occurring, to follow directions of construction personnel, expect occasional delays, and find alternate routes if at all possible.
Friday, September 27th: Completion of patching at both ends of Elm and Foy Creek
Monday, September 30th: Full paving of Elm St and Foy Creek Dr as well as the parking lot of Calhoun Corners
*Monday, September 9th: Pickens Construction will be paving Valley View Drive over the next few days*
*Monday, August 26th: Pickens Construction will begin paving in Ashley Estates (Albemarle Dr, Colleton Ct, Ashley Rd)*
Thursday, August 22nd: Patching on Heather Drive.
Thursday, August 15th: Paving Hillcrest Avenue*
Foy Creek Drive was previously scheduled for paving on Monday, August 19th. Due to issues at 114 Earle, Foy Creek will NOT be paved on Monday. We do not yet know which street will be paved instead, but we will continue to send updates as they become available.
