COVID-19 Update: City of Clemson Parks and Recreation

COVID-19 Update: City of Clemson Parks and Recreation

In an effort to stem the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to comply with the Governor's Executive orders, which are to protect the health and well-being of the families in the City of Clemson and Town of Central, both Recreation Departments will continue their suspension of all youth and adult team sports activities until further notice. This suspension includes all practices and games. This suspension of activities is what we think is best for the safety of our young athletes and parents. We will continue to monitor this situation and make a decision on the safety of resuming activities at a later date. Our goal is to have a Springs Sports season, even if it begins in May or June. 

The City of Clemson's Spring Break Camp, scheduled for April 13th through 17th, has also been canceled. 

Additionally, all Playground Structures and Surfaces are immediately closed, but the Parks themselves will remain open.
