Clemson University continues to test the levels of SARS-CoV-2 in the University and City Wastewater Treatment Facilities, including the University Plant, Clemson's Cochran Road Plant, and the Pendleton Plant, which also serves a portion of the City of Clemson.
The full results as of August 11th are included below, and other results are forthcoming. We will continue to update as we receive more test results.
The long term trend for Cochran Rd and Pendleton/Clemson shows a modest decline since we started monitoring in mid- to late June, but both plants still have virus levels above 105 copies per liter (except for the one sample from Cochran Rd that is now looking like an outlier). As a community, there is still a lot of work to be done to get a further reduction in the number of infected individuals. Please continue to wear a mask when in public spaces and near people not in your household.
