Beginning May 2021, the public can attend City of Clemson public meetings in person.  COVID Protocol will be in place for social distancing.

You can also view these meetings on the City of Clemson's YouTube channel.

How to make a public comment:
1.  In person
2.  On the City's MyCivic web platform (up to 2pm the day of the meeting).  Click Here 
3.  Call in by phone during the meeting by dialing 864-653-9886 at the appropriate time.

Disclaimer:  The City of Clemson will continue to provide multiple ways to view and participate in our public meetings.  Note that technology is not perfect and on rare occasions could fail before, during, or after a meeting.  If this happens you should be able to watch the local recorded meeting on YouTube at a later date or review the minutes of the meeting when they are available.

a. Receive a report from President Galen DeHay Ph.D., Tri County Technical College – Mayor Halfacre.
b. Set a date for a Council Work Session to discuss the Nettles Park Master Plan – Parks & Recreation Director Jay Bennett.
c. Staff Reports

Ordinances:
a. Consider 2nd Reading of an Ordinance to annex a parcel at Nettles Park into the city limits of Clemson – Planning & Codes Director Todd Steadman.
b. Consider 1st Reading of an Ordinance to establish City Park hours – Parks & Recreation Director Jay Bennett.
c. Consider 1st Reading of an Ordinance text amendment to allow Parks to serve as an institutional use in Planned Developments – Planning & Codes Director Todd Steadman.
d. Consider 1st Reading of an Ordinance to allow grandfathered rights – Planning & Codes Director Todd Steadman.
e. Consider the Emergency Ordinance to require the wearing of face coverings or masks in public places and in settings where there is a risk of exposure to the covid-19 virus. – City Attorney Mary McCormac.
f. Consider the Emergency Ordinance enacted to assist local restaurants by continuing the temporary lifting of the City’s prohibition against open containers of alcohol subject to listed mandatory requirements – City Attorney Mary McCormac.
