2021-R-03 Proposed Text Amendment (RM-1A)

The proposed text amendment would create a new zoning district, RM-1A Medium- density Residential District, which will allow for the same lot sizes and other dimensional requirements as the City’s existing RM-1 District, but permit only single-family residences. In addition, the amendment establishes architectural standards for patio home developments, updates the definition of ‘Occupancy’ to make it consistent with current standards; and clarifies the maximum dwelling occupancy and structure height of townhouse developments. The Planning Commission approved the draft on June 14, 2021.
