Planning and Codes Customer Information

Dear City of Clemson Planning and Codes Customer,

As of August 23rd the City transitioned from the current permitting system to a new permitting system.  These changes are part of the City’s ongoing effort to provide enhanced customer service to our customers.   


Please be aware of the following important items:

  • Permits – Your currently issued permits will not be impacted by this transition. New permit applications will need to be submitted in person or via email.
  • Scheduling Inspections – Currently, all inspection requests will need to be called in to 864-653-2050.
  • How do I make payments?  - There will be no change to processing payments at this time. Payments will still be accepted over the phone, in person or via our online portal.


Please be patient and understanding with our staff as we are working diligently to make this transition as smooth as possible.  We apologize for any inconveniences this might cause.
