Beginning May 2021, the public can attend City of Clemson public meetings in person.  COVID Protocol will be in place for social distancing, and masks will be required for entry.

Disclaimer:  The City of Clemson will continue to provide multiple ways to view and participate in our public meetings.  Note that technology is not perfect and on rare occasions could fail before, during, or after a meeting.  If this happens you should be able to watch the local recorded meeting on YouTube at a later date or review the minutes of the meeting when they are available.

  1. Approval of Minutes
  2. Current events, activities, leagues, lessons, and other program offerings
    1. Programming
    2. Athletics
  3. Current facilities, equipment, and supplies
  4. Assist and advise staff in identifying potential volunteers
    1. December 3rd*- Set up breakfast with Santa @ LJCC 4:30pm-7:00pm
    2. December 4th (p)- Breakfast with Santa 7am-11am  -3 elves ($10/hr)
    3. December 7th*- Christmas Parade (Event set up 3pm-5pm/ event 5pm-7pm)
    4. December 9th (p)- Senior Luncheon 10am-1pm  -3 elves ($10/hr)
    5. December 16th*- Art Center Holiday Craft (Set up 3pm-4pm/ event 4pm-6pm)
    6. If you are interested in volunteering for any events with a (*) please fill out the volunteer form on Parks & Rec website.  If you would like to assist with a paid staff event (p), please email Lindsey
  5. Other future leisure and recreation activities and programs
  6. Long-range and/or master plans for future Parks and Recreation activities and facilities
    1. Recommendations for Nettles Park Master Plan including phasing
  7. Other matters as approved or assigned by the Director or by City Council
    1. Create a City Ordinance for Park Rules
  8. Board Positions
  9. Provide a report of the Committee’s activities to Council at least once annually
  10. New Business
  11. Next Meeting:  Tuesday, January 25 at 6:00 pm
