The City of Clemson is seeking interested residents to serve on one of the following boards:
Accommodations Tax Committee
1 positions – 3 year term
Position must be filled by an owner of a business in the City of Clemson; Clemson resident preferred
Board of Architectural Review
2 positions – 4 year terms
1 position must be filled by a Clemson resident who is a professional in architecture, landscape
architecture, horticulture, building construction, engineering, or urban planning
1 position must be filled by an at-large resident of the City of Clemson
Building/Fire Board of Appeals
3 positions – 4 year terms
Positions must be filled by City of Clemson residents who are qualified by experience and training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction and fire codes
Police Advisory Board
1 positions – 1 year term
1 position (1 year term) must be filled by a Clemson University student
Public Arts and Culture Commission
2 positions – 3 year terms; 1 position – 2 year term
Positions must be filled by City of Clemson residents
These are all volunteer positions appointed by City Council.
