Reports/Discussion
a. Discuss allowing the City to issue fines for false alarms associated with fire alarms, burglar
alarms, robbery alarms, security alarms and panic alarms – Fire Marshal Bryan Johnson.
b. Recognize the City of Clemson Parks and Recreation Department for winning the 2022
South Carolina Athletic Programs Class II Athletic Department of the Year Award – Parks &
Rec. Director Jay Bennett.
c. Discuss potential use of the open green space behind the Fire Station located on
Issaqueena Trail as a new drop off recycling center – City Engineer Nathan Hinkle.
d. Staff Reports.

a. Consider 2 nd Reading of an Ordinance for bikes and scooters – Police Chief Campos.

a. Consider an amendment to the Fire Service Contract with Clemson University for purchase of a new

b. Consider awarding Gar-Con Inc., the Construction Manager at Risk contract for the ARPA
infrastructure improvements – City Engineer Nathan Hinkle.

Consider applicant for the Director of Planning and Development - Discussion of employment,
appointment, compensation, promotion, demotion, discipline, or release of an employee, a student,

Note: Upon returning to regular session, Council may take action on matters discussed in Executive Session
