NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Clemson City Council will hold a public hearing beginning at 5:30 p.m. on July 15, 2024, on the following matter:
2024-R-02 Proposed Text Amendment (Non-residential Setbacks and PD Acreage)
As currently drafted, minimum side setbacks in the C (General Commercial), CM (Commercial Mixed-Use), CP-1 (Neighborhood Business), CP-2 (Community Business), CP-3 (Highway Service), and OP (Office-Professional) Districts would be amended to fifteen (15) feet; and the minimum area for new planned developments (PD’s) would be amended to four (4) contiguous acres, excepting those adjoined solely by the R-20 or R-12 Single-family Residential Districts, which would be required to have a minimum area of five (5) acres.
The public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1250 Tiger Boulevard, Clemson, SC, and will also be livestreamed on the City of Clemson’s YouTube channel.
