Retracing the Clemson Hub Process

Retracing the Clemson Hub Process

To ensure clarity regarding recent city planning discussions, we’re providing a detailed account of the interactions between the council and administration over the past few months. This includes a timeline of events since February 2022 which retraces our steps and is intended to help Council, the media, and the public follow the chain of events related to the Hub Clemson redevelopment process in the proper sequence. Also included are emails (and their attachments) related to the Hub beginning in January 2023. These emails have been reviewed and redacted by the City Attorney to protect attorney-client privilege related to ongoing litigation.

This information aims to address any mischaracterizations about the proceedings within the city. We remain committed to following proper procedure, maintaining transparency, and engaging constructively with all stakeholders throughout this process. Our goal is to serve the best interests of our community while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
