Candidates for 2024 Municipal Election

Candidate filing for Clemson’s 2024 Municipal election closed at noon on August 1st, 2024.

City Council seats occupied by Bob Brookover, John Ducworth, and Catherine Watt as well as the Mayoral seat occupied by Robert Halfacre will be on the ballot for the City of Clemson.

Seven candidates have filed for Council:

  • Bob Brookover (incumbent)
  • John Crolley
  • Nanda Edgerton
  • Alma Evans
  • Adam Jones
  • Donna London
  • Windsor Sherrill

Three candidates have filed for Mayor:

  • Jim Borick.
  • Robert Halfacre (incumbent)
  • Catherine Watt (current Council member)

These newly elected terms will begin January 2025 and end December 2029.

The Pickens County Board of Voter Registration and Elections will conduct the City of Clemson Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. To vote in this General Election, you must be registered for at least 30 days prior to November 5th. Specific dates are listed on the Pickens Board of Elections website at https://pickenselections.org.

The terms of Council Members Lillian Boatwright, John Fulmer, and Alesia Smith will end December 2026.
