**Recycling update: After evaluation of city streets today, some are passable with City Garbage and Recycling Trucks and others are not. With the condition of the streets and the late opening on Tuesday, January 18th, the Public Works Department is another day behind on Garbage and Recycling routes. The Public Works crews are working hard on road clean-up and will run some of the Monday and Tuesday Garbage and Recycling routes on Tuesday. They will only get to the streets that are safe and passable with the heavy trucks. Streets that are not passable tomorrow will be picked up as soon as the streets are safe. Neighborhoods with a lot of tree cover still have ice on the streets. The Public Works crew is still working hard to get all the streets cleared from ice and snow. We ask if your garbage pick up day is on Monday or Tuesday and you haven't already placed your roll cart and recycling bin out that you do so tomorrow morning. We will continue to do our best to provide the service this week. So far Wednesday and Thursday's garbage and recycling are still on regular schedule if weather permits.
