The City of Clemson is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Leadership Clemson (LC) Class of 2024. This esteemed program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to develop and refine their leadership skills while gaining valuable insights into the Clemson community.
The LC program consists of five classes, commencing in January and concluding in May 2024. Meetings are scheduled once a month, providing participants with a structured and immersive learning experience. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on governmental processes, and community engagement, while also focusing on personal leadership development and career networking,
Participants of the Leadership Clemson program will have the chance to make a meaningful impact through a Community-based Group Project. This project is designed to benefit a local non-profit organization in the Clemson area, allowing participants to give back and contribute to the betterment of their community.
In addition to the educational and social aspects of the program, LC offers a rare behind-the-scenes look into the Clemson community. Participants will have the opportunity to tour local businesses and engage in round table discussions with government officials, civic leaders, program directors, and more.
