As part of the ARPA project, please be advised that Martin Street - from Riggs Drive to Wyatt Avenue- will be closed from July 30th to August 14th for rehabilitation of the sewer infrastructure. During this period, only one lane will be open for the residents within that section of Martin Street. Other traffic will be detoured via Riggs Drive, Mitchell Avenue, and Wyatt Avenue (see attached map). We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our community’s infrastructure.

In the wake of this morning’s CrowdStrike security update, the City of Clemson offices are open and operational. However, some of our online services have been affected by this update and are currently down.

To ensure clarity regarding recent city planning discussions, we’re providing a detailed account of the interactions between the council and administration over the past few months. This includes a timeline of events since February 2022 which retraces our steps and is intended to help Council, the media, and the public follow the chain of events related to the Hub Clemson redevelopment process in the proper sequence. Also included are emails (and their attachments) related to the Hub beginning in January 2023. These emails have been reviewed and redacted by the City Attorney to protect attorney-client privilege related to ongoing litigation.
