General Election City Council November 6, 2018

The General Election for federal, state, county and various local offices will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. 

The deadline to register to vote has been extended until October 17th, 2018, in person, online, or by mail. 

Those who cannot vote in person on Election Day maybe able to vote absentee. In person absentee voting will open in our office beginning October 8, 2018. In addition to normal business hours (Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm), the Office of the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Pickens County will open on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9:00-1:00 for in-person absentee voting.  

Voter ballots in the City of Clemson will include:

  • A constitutional referendum regarding the appointment or election of the Superintendent of Education
  • A referendum allowing both on-premise and off-premise consumption sales of alcohol on Sundays in the City of Clemson
  • Three City Council seats. 

The League of Women Voters will hold a forum with all 8 City Council candidates in the City Hall Council Chamber on October 29th at 7pm.
