Notice of Public Hearing

The Clemson City Council will hold a public hearing on the matter listed below.  The session will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 1250 Tiger Boulevard, Clemson, SC 29631.  

Hearing Topic:

PUD-000034 Lawrence Rd (ONE Clemson) Proposed Planned Development: 

Mr. C. Todd Kennedy, applicant, proposes to annex five parcels (approximately 24.5 acres) located in unincorporated Pickens County near Lawrence Road into the City of Clemson, and to develop the property as a planned development consisting of residential and commercial uses.  The proposal includes 105 multi-family cottages; 44 workforce townhomes; a restaurant/retail center, and the dedication of land to the City for a future park.  The Planning Commission approved the proposed annexation, zoning (Planned Development District), and draft site plan and regulating standards on June 13, 2022.

Public input is being sought on all matters associated with the proposal.

Comments may be made in advance on the City’s MyCivic App, or may be submitted in person or by attending zoom webinar during the public hearing
