The City of Clemson City Council has scheduled public hearings on the matters listed below. The sessions, which will be held consecutively, will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 1250 Tiger Boulevard, Clemson, SC 29631.

Hearing Topics:
2022-R-02 Proposed Text Amendment: City Code currently contains no specific standard for limits on the size of ‘help wanted’ signs in businesses. As drafted, the proposed text amendment will amend Chapter 19 Article VII of the Code to establish a maximum size of 9 square feet.
2022-R-03 Proposed Text Amendment: The proposal will amend Chapter 19 Section 19-305 to establish conditional use standards requiring dog waste stations in new patio home, townhouse and multi-family developments.
2022-R-09 Proposed Text Amendment: City Code requires the developer of all new commercial, minor and major subdivision, multifamily, and tract development projects situated along a route identified for the installation of a bikeway to install the planned section on their frontage. The proposed change will amend Chapter 15 Section 15-30.11 of the Code by adding new Simple Lot Subdivision projects creating two or more new buildable lots to the list.
