CATbus Route Adjustments

CATbus Route Adjustments

Thanksgiving

Wednesday, Nov. 27th
Red Route: 7:00am-6:30pm hourly
No Pier/Flats, or Central

Thursday and Friday Nov. 28th & 29th
NO SERVICE - All Routes

The Red-Route and Central route will start back up on Saturday, Nov. 30th.
All other routes will resume service Monday, December 2nd.

Due the Annual City of Seneca Christmas Parade, the following changes will be made in Service on Monday, December 2nd:

  • The last Residential run will be at 2:20 from City Hall
  • The Business route will come down E.N. 1st Street, turn right on N Cherry Street, left on E.N. 2nd Street, turn Right on E.N.1st Street.
  • The Seneca/Clemson Express will travel down W.N. 1st street, turn left on W.N. 2nd Street, turn right on N Cherry Street to E.N. 1st Street, and left on E.N. 1st Street to go onto Hwy 123.
  • THERE WILL BE NO STOPPING AT DOWNTOWN CHARGER OR CITY HALL AFTER 3:30PM.

Due to the City of Clemson Christmas Parade, the following changes in service will be made Thursday, December 5th from 4:30pm to 9pm:

  • The Red to Central bus - Will travel its normal route until the intersection of College Ave. & Hwy 123, @ this point it will deviate onto Hwy 123 (Bypassing Downtown Clemson & Sikes Hall) then continuing on to Clemson University by way of Hwy 76, turn right onto Perimeter Rd., and turn right onto Newman Rd. The bus will stop at the intersection of Newman Rd. & Hwy 93, turn right on to Hwy 93. At that point, the route will resume its regular route.
  • The Red to Clemson bus - – Will travel its normal route from Central to Clemson. Turn left onto Hwy 76. The bus will turn right on Perimeter Rd., turn right onto Newman Rd. The bus will drop off and pick up at the intersection of Newman & Hwy 93. The bus will turn right onto Hwy 93. The bus will cross over Hwy 76 then turn left onto Hwy 76. Left on Hwy 123 and right onto College Ave. The route will resume its normal schedule/route @ the intersection of College Ave. and Hwy 123.
  • The Clemson/Seneca Express- will travel its normal route until Hwy 76. At this point the bus will travel Hwy 76, turn right onto Perimeter Rd., turn right on Newman Rd., stop at McMillan (exchange with Pendleton). Turn right on Hwy 93m, right on Hwy 76, right on Perimeter, and left on Hwy 93. The route will resume its normal schedule/route @ this point.
  • The Pendleton bus- will travel its normal route until Newman Rd. and Hwy 93. Turn right onto Hwy 93, turn right onto Hwy 76, Turn right onto Perimeter Rd., and left onto Old Stadium Rd. The route will resume its normal schedule/route @ this point. 
  • Highpoint/Pier- Downtown- will not start their route until 7:30pm
  • Gold Route- Leaving Crawford Falls, will turn right on Hwy 93, left on Hwy 76. The bus will then go right on Perimeter Rd., right on Newman Rd., right on Hwy 93, and then left on Hwy 76 From that point the bus will proceed on its normal route.

Due to the Annual Town of Central Christmas Parade, the following deviations will take place on Friday December 6,2024 4:30pm-8:00pm:

  • The Red-Central/Red-Clemson buses will be turning around at the Library/Rec Center from 4:30pm-8:00pm and will start running back out to the Town of Central starting at 8:00pm.
  • The Walmart/SWU bus will start its route from the library at 7:00pm, turn left onto Hwy 93 to Ingles, and take its normal route to WalMart via Hwy 123. Leaving WalMart the bus will turn left on Eighteen Mile Rd., right on Pepper St., right on Tarrant St., right on Hwy 93, proceed to SWU. Heading back to WalMart the bus will take a left onto Tarrant St., left on Pepper St., left on Eighteen Mile Rd. and continue the route from there. Beginning at 8:00pm the bus will start its regular route from the library.

HOLIDAY SERVICE SCHEDULE CHANGE:

  • Central – 12/14/2024-1/5/2025 Weekend Service Only (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
  • Pier/Flats- NO SERVICE 12/16/2024-1/5/2025
  • Red Route- 30-minute service 12/9/2024-12/13/2024
  • No Red-Route Weekend Service 12/14/2024-1/5/2024
  • Holiday Schedule (hourly)-12/16/2024-1/3/2023

NO BUS SERVICE FOR ALL ROUTES 12/24/2024&12/25/2024 & 1/1/2025
