Approval of Minutes – January 19, 2021

Reports/Discussion Agenda:
a. Receive a report on the current state of affairs of the Police Department and the community – Police Chief Jorge Campos.
b. Receive a presentation of the MyCivic App – Information Technology Director Lowell Arwood.
c. Discuss the evaluation process for annexations – Planning & Codes Director Todd Steadman.
d. Discuss a rezoning request for 44 acres near Vickery Drive – Planning & Codes Director Todd Steadman.

Ordinances:
a. Consider 2nd Reading of an Ordinance to amend the City Code of Ordinances Chapter 12. Occupational Licenses, Taxes and Regulations, Article IV. Business Licenses, Section 12- 57. Purpose and Duration, in compliance with standardization mandates – City Clerk Beverly Coleman.
b. Consider 1st Reading of an Ordinance to amend the City Code of Ordinances Chapter 2. Administration, Article II. Governing Body, Division 2. Rules of Procedure, Section 2-47 Voting – Council Member McGuire.

Executive Session:
a. Discuss recommendations for appointing the Director of Finance and Municipal Judge positions; SC Code of Laws Sec. 30-4-70 (a)(1), Discussion of employment, appointment, compensation, promotion, demotion, discipline, or release of an employee.
