Funding for twice per week sampling of wastewater is no longer available. However, Clemson University will continue to send samples once per week to Biobot, the company we have been using since February 2022 to analyze the virus concentration in the wastewater. Biobot will provide this service at no cost in order to include the campus and the two community sewersheds in their national wastewater surveillance network. You can view the trends at:

At this site, select South Carolina. Three counties are currently shown: Anderson, Greenville, and Pickens. The results for Anderson and Pickens represent the three treatment plants reported for the City and University dashboards. One important difference to note: The Biobot dashboard reports ‘Effective Concentrations’ while the City and University dashboards provide the concentrations as reported, without adjustments. In general, the effective concentrations and concentrations without adjustment are strongly correlated, so the trends shown by Biobot are representative of what has been reported on the local dashboards.
