September 28th, 2024 - 9:00am

Today's Homecoming game is set to go on as scheduled, though it will look a little different. Click here to read more about gameday operations. 

September 27th, 2024 - 6:00pm

Crews have been working diligently to make sure all roads in town are passable; however, many of them are not completely clear. Please continue to exercise caution, and stay home as much as possible, especially in the evening and night hours.

September 27th, 2024 - 1:00pm

  • Tonight's evening clay studio at The Arts Center has been cancelled. 

September 27th, 2024 - 6:30am

  • City offices will be closed Friday, September 27th due to Hurricane Helene. The City continues to closely monitor the situation and will provide updates as needed.
  • CATbus routes will not run Friday. Routes will resume Saturday morning.
  • The utility billing department will be closed today with no new connections or disconnections at this time. Online payments are still available. Please email hcartee@cityofclemson.org with any questions or concerns. 

September 26th, 2024 - 5:00pm

  • Tomorrow, September 27th, City Hall will open at 10:00 AM due to Hurricane Helena. This delay helps ensure the safety of all staff and the public. According to the latest forecast, strong winds and heavy rains are expected Thursday evening into Friday morning. The City continues to closely monitor the situation and will provide updates as needed.
  • Flags at the flag plaza in front of City Hall have been temporarily removed based on the orders of Gov. McMaster. They will be put back after the storm has passed.

September 26th, 2024 - 2:30pm

  • All City Parks will close at 5:00 PM today. We will provide updates when parks are safe to reopen. 
  • Commerical trash pickup for Downtown businesses will move to the morning of Saturday, September 28th.
  • CATBus routes have been altered. The last bus for Thursday night for the will be leaving Downtown Clemson on the Red-Central Route at 11:15 PM, Red-Clemson at 11:24 PM, and Highpoint-Pier at 11:15 PM. Officials are currently working to determine Friday routes, and updates will be provided as soon as possible. 
  • The ATAX committee meeting scheduled for tonight has been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date. 
  • The Arts Center will close at 3pm and remain closed through Friday. Thursday evening classes will be reschedule (those registered for classes will receive more information via email). Friday mornings clay open studio is canceled. The evening clay studio will run as scheduled.
