College Towns Depend on Accurate Count of Students Living in Area

Courtesy of US Census Bureau

When responding to the 2020 Census, college students should be counted where they live and sleep most of the time as of April 1, 2020.

For most students, that means in their college town, not back home with their parents.

Read more about how college students should be counted and why it is so important in the full article on the Census Bureau's website.

Census Day is April 1st, 2020

The US Constitution mandates a national Census every ten years in an effort to count every person living in the US once – and only once – and in the right place.
